What data is available on the Reports feature?

The Reports feature allows you to download any data related to bookings happening in your lab. The report information such as Equipment, User, Group, Duration, Cost and Project used is available. You can also aggregate by User, Lab, Equipment, Equipment & User, Group, Project, and Funding code, to see things like the total number of bookings made on a specific instrument in a set period of time, the total number of hours that instrument was used for and how many users used certain instruments. The report will be downloaded in a .csv format.

How do I charge researchers (who have funding grants) based on their bookings?

You are able to force people to use a Project and Funding Code when booking certain instruments in your lab/facility by making it a requirement.

We use Clustermarket at our company and not at a university. Can we use reporting to check how much each Project is costing us?

Yes. The Projects feature is flexible enough to allow companies to use it as a tool to keep track of internal R&D project costs. Simply create a Project on the platform and select it each time you make a booking.

Can I charge different prices to different internal users?

Yes. On the Pricing section of each equipment, there is an option to Add group pricing.
