Introductions: Central Working and the I-Hub
Some of Central Working’s core values are valuing human connection and re-engineering a sense of community to enable collaborations between people and companies. Building relationships and meeting the people around you is the first step to working together. As an innovation hub, there are an incredible amount of exciting things happening and Central Working would like to facilitate an awareness of who is who in the building and what they are building and creating.
The third in a series introducing who is in and around the I-Hub. Featuring the winners of the Scalable Business Awards.
Scalable Business Awards
Imperial College ThinkSpace and Central Working announced the Scalable Business Award at the launch of Central Working White City in October 2017, providing five promising technology companies with support worth a combined £250,000. Successful applicants have received a year of free office space, and all the guidance, business connections and advice that a Central Working membership brings. The award was specifically designed for companies that are developing technology or business that has potential to disrupt or change the industry.
Translation and Innovation Hub
The Translation & Innovation Hub (I-HUB) provides space for companies to work alongside Imperial researchers and turn scientific and technological innovations into new products and services.
Its facilities support businesses large and small, including start-ups and fast-growth companies as well as established biotech and scientific research organisations.
