Bookkit is Clustermarket’s easy-to-use lab management system. It helps organising equipment and service bookings from students, researchers and technicians within your laboratory and university.
The lab management system has been developed over the last two years with extensive user testing. The result is a software system with an intuitive interface that can be used anytime, anywhere.
We are able to implement Bookkit in your lab within 60 minutes (calculated with 12 users, 20 instruments) if you provide us with the relevant information. The implementation includes account setup, equipment upload and training of all users. Afterwards, we provide 24/7 customer support.
Keeping an overview of bookings, cancellations, lab users, access rights, training, maintenance and recharges is challenging without a technical solution. Bookkit provides you with booking rules, user management and usage reports that reduces your daily admin work.
Manage all current lab users and invite new users. Assign roles such as technician, student and researcher to assign responsibilities and authorisation. Add users and equipment to groups to summarise access rights and booking schedules. Keep an overview of trained, untrained and temporary users.
Control equipment access for your lab members and external users including commercial client and other academics. Set rules for booking times, durations, cancellations and approvals. Add and update equipment information with ease including pictures and manuals.
Communicate with your lab users via our integrated messaging system, for example, announcing downtimes, breakdowns or any other information to all, groups or individual users.
Inform your lab users about maintenance, breakdowns or general announcements through Clustermarket.
Have an overview of all equipment bookings and technical service orders in a single calendar. Our graphs assist you with keeping track of equipment utilisation, lab members and income. We also provide CSV files, so you can customise your analyses.
The CSV files will enable your financial controller for uncomplicated recharging. Any payments for equipment usages or service orders from external users will be managed by us - no money chasing or delayed payments.
Enforce using grant/funding codes for each equipment booking by a lab member or guest.

All communication between your computer and Bookkit is securely encrypted via SSL (256-bit).
The Bookkit team can do an inventory including equipment information and identify your most valuable instruments and expertise.
We can set up the accounts and upload all instruments and services for you. The Bookkit team will make sure that you get the most out of the system and provide you with detailed guidelines in writing and from face-to-face.
